David Eastlake - managing director

Born and brought up in Northumberland, David has a passion for most sports, especially decathlon and rugby in his early days; however he retired when he finally decided that he couldn’t catch a certain Daley Thompson!

David entered the furniture and interior business in 1983, working as a space-planner designer and in sales. He then joined Georgeson as Managing Director in December 2000 with a remit to turn the business around and grow - he then bought the eastlake group business in August 2003, which became a leader in the commercial interiors and facilities services marketplace and was bought by Europa in 2009.  David now heads up Europa Workspace Services, a specialist division of Europa Support Services.

Golf is his sporting passion, and having taken up the game 8 years ago when he moved to Scotland, he “will have a single figure handicap by time I am 46.”

Helen Eastlake - customer services director

Having spent all her working life in Customer Service for organizations such as Thorn EMI and National Power, Helen moved to Scotland with David in 2001 to join Georgeson. Helen then joined the main Board when she and David acquired the business from the Georgeson family in 2003.

Customer Service is viewed as a key aspect of the Group’s success, ensuring that Europa Workspace Services customers are represented in the boardroom.

Neil Sullivan - operations director

Neil spent much of his childhood living in Saudi Arabia and Greece before settling at King’s School Rochester, Kent.  After completing his studies he went to work at Lloyds of London for a year before joining the police force, serving in specialist units.  He then left the police after 4 years to pursue a career in Dubai, gaining experience as a site manager, then latterly project manager for several blue chip sites including Emirates, Nokia, Ford, British Airways and Tetrapack.

After 5 years Neil returned to England and worked as a sales manager for a northern based fit-out company before the call was received from efs.  As operations director he is responsible for the project managers and their teams, based across the UK working on key accounts, and the development of process and procedures to constantly improve the high levels of services provided to clients.

Neil has enjoyed playing representative rugby at both codes, and lives in the South West with his wife Caroline and daughter Maisie.
